The client's request was to develop a concept for a new house nested in the hills of Los Angeles.

Given that the hosts will change seasonally, the house was designed to be flexible, accommodating various functions related to the creative process and leisure.

A striking feature of the design is a full-plan swimming pool detached from the rocky slope, serving as a kaleidoscopic rooftop to the lower living space.

Inside, intriguing shapes and playful color schemes illuminate the living areas.

 

The pool concept emphasizes water sustainability, with various sources used for water collection.

Solar panels contribute to the self-sufficiency of indoor electrical equipment minimizing the CO2 footprint.
